Port Townsend and Olympic Mountains

Started the journey south...found a wonderful city on the Olympic Peninsula - Port Townsend...this is on the Juan de Fuca straights but only gets about 20 inches of rain per year because it is in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains...take a look at the vlog...the mountain you keep seeing in the distance is Mount Baker...it is impressive as it juts out 10000 feet above the surrounding territory...the views are spectacular here...out to sea is Vancouver island...when looking to land you see either Mount Baker, the Northern Cascades or the Olympic mountains...if there is no man-made building to spoil the view it is always spectacular...
